Admissions criteria for the WACE Academic Programme

Admissions Criteria

The following requirements apply to students seeking admission to the WACE programme at Brentvale College International.

Age Requirements

  • Pre-WACE Preparation: Students should be at least 15 years of age at the time of enrolment
  • WACE Year 11: Students should be at least 16 years of age
  • WACE Year 12: Students should be at least 17 years of age
  • Age requirements may be flexible based on academic readiness and prior qualifications

Academic Requirements

  • Completion of at least 10 years of formal education (or equivalent)
  • Satisfactory academic results in previous schooling, particularly in Mathematics and English
  • Official academic transcripts from the most recent two years of schooling
  • For direct entry to Year 11: completion of Year 10 or equivalent with strong academic results
  • For direct entry to Year 12: completion of Year 11 or equivalent WACE units

English Language Requirements

International students must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:

Students from English-medium schools may be exempt from English proficiency testing. An internal placement test may also be accepted.

Applications are reviewed by the admissions team. An interview may be required.
